Shalom Simhon - Minister of Industry, Trade & Labor of Israel, visited Romania on 30-31 August 2011. On this occasion, His Excellency had a meeting with Mr. Academic Lecturer. Dr. Nasty Vladoiu, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania - Israel, with whom he discussed medium and long term business projects between the two countries.
On Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the Chandeliers Hall from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania Palace, a ceremony has been held for handing over the Document of Certifying the quality of public usefulness for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Israel and another 33 Bilateral Chambers of Commerce.
Israel 60 Festival, hosted by the Bucharest National Theatre
This year has a special meaning for Israel and the Hebrew Community Center, wanted to celebrate it in an appropriate manner. The "Israel 60" Festival gathered in the Great Hall of the Bucharest National Theater, Sunday, 1 June 2008, a variety of Israeli traditions, stands with food, books, photographs, traditional dances, and information about the history of this beautiful country.
The highlight of the Festival was undoubtedly the extraordinary concert of Sarit Hadad, the most famous Israeli singer of the moment, which represented Israel at the Eurovision Contest twice. The "Israel 60" Festival was organized by the Hebrew Community Center (JCC) Bucharest, supported by the Romanian Hebrew Community Federation and by JOINT Romania, in partnership with the Jewish Israeli & Culture Foundation.
