Shalom Simhon - Minister of Industry, Trade & Labor of Israel, visited Romania on 30-31 August 2011. On this occasion, His Excellency had a meeting with Mr. Academic Lecturer. Dr. Nasty Vladoiu, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania - Israel, with whom he discussed medium and long term business projects between the two countries.
On Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the Chandeliers Hall from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania Palace, a ceremony has been held for handing over the Document of Certifying the quality of public usefulness for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Israel and another 33 Bilateral Chambers of Commerce.

The Prime Minister’s Conference for Export and International Cooperation held in Jerusalem on November 12th, 2008 (Satellites Conferences/Activities on November 11 & 13) was Israel’s National Conference to mark 60 years of Independence and Economic Achievements.
On this occasion, Romania – Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized an Economic Mission formed by important representatives of the Romanian economic environment, representatives of Romanian authorities and of course of the social environment.
The Prime Minister’s Conference 2008 has featured in its Main Session, 4 Parallel Professional Conferences, 3 of them dedicated to technological sectors in which Israel has gained international reputation for its innovative technologies and achievements. The 4th Conference will deal with Israel’s Financial Market and its Prospects in the Future.
The Prime Minister’s Conference was organized by the four leading economic organizations of Israel: Manufacturers’ Association of Israel, the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce and Israel Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Prime Minister’s Conference for 2008 has been the 7th consecutive conference. Attended by 1,500 business persons annually, it is considered to be Israel’s leading economic Conference.
