Shalom Simhon - Minister of Industry, Trade & Labor of Israel, visited Romania on 30-31 August 2011. On this occasion, His Excellency had a meeting with Mr. Academic Lecturer. Dr. Nasty Vladoiu, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania - Israel, with whom he discussed medium and long term business projects between the two countries.
On Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the Chandeliers Hall from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania Palace, a ceremony has been held for handing over the Document of Certifying the quality of public usefulness for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Israel and another 33 Bilateral Chambers of Commerce.

To contribute actively to the development of the business environment and to facilitate direct contacts and partnerships between members of the business community both from our country and from abroad, the Board of Romania - Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIRI) decided the cancellation of the annual membership fee as a condition of becoming a member of the chamber.
Romania - Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry becomes a real elite club for businessmen, promoter of the dialogue between representatives of business communities, governments, civil society structures and the strong support point in the relationship with the authorities. Certainly, we do not talk about just a simple information transfer, an information bureau, but about a coherent system of interaction by which the entire business environment will develop.
Those interested in becoming members of this powerful and important community may send at office@cciri.ro a membership application with a short overview of the company they represent and will express their willingness to participate in the events, actions and meetings organized by CCIRI.
The application will be subjected to the deliberation of the Board and following an examination the Membership File will be made. The new member will pay the cost of 150 € for issuing the membership card and for processing the Membership File, and then will start to be promoted on the official website of the chamber and among the business community.
Besides the services listed on the chamber’s website (www.cciri.ro), at the request of members, we will try to support them also in other matters of our competence.
