Bucharest, March 25, 2010 – The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR), His Excellency Mr. Mihail M. Vlasov received a courtesy visit of His Excellency Mr. Oren David, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Bucharest.

"Between Romania and Israel there have been established good relationships, with a long history, both at political level, cultural and economical, and the field of the cooperation opportunities is very wide", said at the beginning of the meeting HE. Mihail Vlasov, President of CCIR.

In there are many Israeli investors, some of the most important companies are already operating in various areas, including: food, construction and real estate, banking, telecommunications, hotels and restaurants.

His Excellency Mr. David Oren, Ambassador of Israel to Bucharest insisted in expressing his appreciation towards the "extraordinary relationship between the two countries, also mentioning the high level of the economic cooperation and the intensive work conducted by Mr. Academic Lecturer. Dr. Nasty Vladoiu, President of the – Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in supporting the Israeli business community from .

Israel's Ambassador also mentioned the important environmental projects implemented in Romania in cooperation with Israeli specialists through which more than 1 million Romanians, from the rural area, benefit now of drinking water.

HE Mr. Mihail M. Vlasov, President of CCIR, added at the end of the meeting, that he hopes to meet HE Ambassador of Israel again soon, in such similar meetings.
